This colt Romeo W comes out of the well-known and wide branched line of Joop van Wessel. It is a descendant of the 7-year-old Opium van de Moerhoeve, a stallion who has the stallions Kannan, Nabab de Reve and Chin Chin in his pedigree. With so much quality in a row, success is almost a guarantee. Dam Manita (PROK, preliminary keur) is a 4-year-old daughter of top progenitor Cornet Obolensky and obtained 80 points at the mare inspections for both conformation and jumping. In addition to a powerful canter, the mare had a remarkably good trot. Second dam Gunanita (elite, IBOP) is by the VDL stallion Corland who competed at the highest level with Wout Jan van der Schans. The third dam Unanita (preliminary keur, PROK) is a daughter of the Roelofs stallion Odermus. This line also brought the GP horses Silver Spring and Jaganita.
