El Salvador already made quite an impression with his jumping abilities under the saddle of Sjaak Sleiderink. In breeding this interesting stallion seems an asset as well due to his first very promising offspring. In this pedigree he is combined with the dam Bacardi JB, who is just like the well-known phenomenon Shutterfly sired by sire Silvio I. Granddam Sternchen produced a 1.40m-jumper sired by Escudo II. From this direct line also originates the stallion Wales (s.Wandersmann xx) and the 1.40m-jumpers Wendelin 113 (s.Wandersmann xx) and Go West (s.Graf Sponeck). In the third generation the necessary thoroughbred genes of Star Regent xx is added to this pedigree. This stallion is known for the breeding hardness and stamina.
